The ocean is the everlasting home

Of happy tourists,

Screams of delight

For the sun-seeking,

For those who wish to rid their brains

Of stress back home.

Hands grabbing their chance

To cup crests and bubbles

Blessed to them,

Desperate for new things,

The thrill-seekers who want

To be knocked off their feet…

However…

If they want to be ‘thrilled’

Or be in an action movie,

I don’t see a stunt man running

To take their place

When something lurking below

Their newly tanned feet

Decides to drag on their legs,

And disappear below…
